Ayurvedische Yogamassage (AYM)

Ayurvedische Yogamassage (AYM) verbindet Elemente aus Ayurveda, Tiefenmassage und therapeutischer Yogalehre nach B.K.S. Iyengar.

Ayurvedic Yoga Massage:

Ayurvedic Yoga Massage combines Ayurveda, Deep Tissue Massage and yoga therapy according to B.K.S. Iyengar.

AYM harmonizes the flow of vital energy (prana) through the body, releases muscle tension and joint stiffness, and stretches the fascia. It helps to ease diseases of the musculoskeletal and respiratory system, reduces emotional and mental stress, improves recovery from injuries, body posture, well-being and performance efficiency.

Calamus extract and essential oils stimulate blood circulation, help to detoxify the body and improve skin texture.

The long lasting, immediate effect of the massage is stimulating and relaxing at the same time.

The AYM technique was developed in the early 1980s by Kusum Modak from Pune, India, and a long term student of B.K.S. Iyengar. In her method she also integrated her knowledge of Ayurveda gained from her master Lamaye Maharaj, an expert in ayurvedic and therapeutic massage.

Individual sessions last between 60-90 minutes and are held on mattress on the floor.
